TRACING THE ORIGIN OF CELL

                      Tracing the origin of cells

The origin of cells is a very essential part in the evolution of life on earth. In the development of the earlier cells, very many conditions and molecular reactions could be inferred to have brought about this reality. The discovery of cells, give rise to a transition of studies and knowledge from ' abiogenesis' which is the study of life as a risen from non- living matters or simple organic compounds to some little units having close characteristics of modern cells such as mitochondria, Golgi bodies etc. All these units went through some stages of transition in order to have the complete characteristics of the modern cell. Also this transition depends on the ability of these units to undergo effective natural selection.
Another possibility we can say that brought about this early cells are some series of experiments which took place at ancient coastal waters. We could say that these costal sea served as a ' mammoth laboratory '. Due to the making of waves along this shore, some bubbles were formed i.e foam producing bubbles. Since shallow costal waters are warm, it concentrate the molecules through evaporation. Consequently, the bubbles that are formed, both the water bubbles and oily bubbles. But since the water bubbles burst easily most of this reactions took place on the oily surface of the bubbles. One of the important component in this oily bubbles that was involved is the ' phospholipid'.
